What could be a good product(not in market) that'll make use of a (RFID) radio frequency identification tag?

I haven't seen it on the market, so I built it myself:
All family members have a RFID tag. Anyone leaving or entering through either the main door or the garage will be counted. If the result is "zero", then -
- the heating system is lowered by 3 degrees
- all unnecessary (non-security) lights are turned off
- all doors are electrically bolted shut
- alarm system is made "hot"
The process reverses if the count result is >0

This reply was posted to me when I asked the above question two weeks ago. I am looking forward to getting in touch with the person who gave a very interesting feedback but I had a question regarding the remote server or host computer that operates the system. I look forward to hearing from the responder. Thankyou
